Space Jam: A New Legacy (also known as Space Jam 2) is a 2021 American live-action/animated sports comedy movie directed by Malcolm D. Lee. It is a stand-alone sequel to Space Jam (1996). The movie stars basketball star LeBron James and the Looney Tunes.

Production
changeThe movie was going to be released after the success of the first movie. It was scrapped in favor of Looney Tunes: Back in Action. The project resurfaced in the 2010s. The movie was announced in 2019 as Space Jam 2. In April 2020, LeBron James changed the movie's title to Space Jam: A New Legacy and was set for a July 2021 release.
