Star-Lord (Peter Quill) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, and is the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The character was created by Bill Mantlo, Steve Englehart, and Gray Morrow.

changeA self-proclaimed ''outlaw'', Star-Lord was a member of the space thieves Ravagers who later formed a team with Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot to stop the evil Ronan the Accuser, and later to both protect the galaxy from threats, while at the same time getting paid for services.
