Stephen F. Williams

American judge (1936-2020)

Stephen Fain Williams (September 23, 1936 – August 7, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer. He was the Senior United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit between 1986 until his death. He was nominated to the position by President Ronald Reagan. Williams was born in New York City.

Williams was hospitalized in Washington, D.C. in June 2020 with COVID-19. He died from the infection two months later on August 7, 2020 at the age of 83.[1]
