Swainsona extrajacens is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae and is endemic to central Australia. It is an erect, apparently annual plant with imparipinnate leaves with 9 to 25 linear, egg-shaped leaflets, and racemes of purple flowers in racemes of 5 to 10.[1]
