Hello F&F 2024 participant. I have begun by running the text of this article through my readability gizmo. It is giving me nothing over ninth grade. So far so good.
I will now read it with my squishy human brain. I'm seeing lots of places where the English could be simpler. You name 1001 Nights without saying what it is. This article links to Orientalist but it ought to link [[Orientalist|explanation of what an orientalist is, tailored to this article's readers' needs]].
"Introduced to the collection" should be simpler. "Fraudulently" could be simpler. The whole article has words like this.
