In the UK, grass is slang for informer. The case concerned involved someone who frequently intimidated people into not reporting their crimes to the police by means of vaguely threatening retribution by repeatedly calling them grasses. Jim Michael (talk) 18:34, 8 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
