Most of the informations in this article was taken from the English Wikipedia (and almost all Wikipedias do the same) except that I tried to simplify as much as possible as well as leaving out some paragraphs. I left the references which I could accessed and read myself. Please, try to simplify more the article and add more informations, if possible.
Originally, there was a request to merge the article on White-crested cockatoo to this article but I eliminated that request because the White-crested Cockatoo should have its own article and this article is about the family, not individual species.--Jmarcano (talk) 22:22, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
