- Oppose "Internal" is not nessecary. Suggest redirect Inernal combustion engine to combustion engine as simpler title. Other stuff links to "combustion engine". ~ R.T.G 15:25, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- Agree Combustion engine is an imprecise term not used by anyone in mechanical engineering. It will only confuse our readers. It is hard to find any examples of "Combustion engine" which are not preceded by "internal" or "external". Lumos3 (talk) 10:11, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
