Verbs change

We want to be both simple (i.e., clear) and correct. This can be difficult. For example, we list only "was", "is", and "will" as past, present and future tenses, respectively, of "to be." What about "were", "am", "are", and "shall"? Kdammers (talk) 05:09, 16 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

definition change

"Grammar is the rules about how to speak and write in a language" or should it be Grammar is the description of how a language language is spoken and written" ? Kdammers (talk) 02:43, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unclear change

An entire section starts with "Word order is the other big difference." It is a big dfference with respect to what? Romance grammar? Germanic grammar? Earlier English grammar? Kdammers (talk) 02:35, 19 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
