Temporary removal change
I'm temporarily removing this from the end of the article because I think it seems more like something that one would find in a how-to manual or something (and because some of it is good, but redundant because it was already mentioned in the rest of the article.)
There are many diffrent kinds of hamsters. Before getting a hamster always be sure to discuss which kind you will like to have. Golden hamsters are always popular first choice hamsters since they are easy to take care of. A life span of a hamster is one to two years. Kansan (talk) 05:47, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Changing change
This article needs heavily re-worded. It actually looks more like a "How to take care of your hamster" booklet than an encyclopaedia article. Orashmatash 14:25, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
