The name honey change

I closed an RFD about a page which mentioned "The name honey is derived from the Old English "hunig," meaning "honey," and was used to refer to someone who gathered or sold honey, or to someone who kept bees." I am not sure if the information needs to be included in the article because I have seen the origin of the word being mentioned in some of the articles while the articles I checked about honey in English Wikipedia and Encyclopædia Britannica did not mention it. Per en:wikt:hunig, the name honey make sense. This seems to collaborate the source of honey name. This mean the 1st part is correct. The second part I cannot find sources for it. I think we shall add the part till meaning "honey" in. --Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 08:12, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
