List Sorted Incorrectly change
The title of this article indicates that it is a list of states by time zone. What is instead listed is a list of time zones by state: I was expecting to see time zones at a higher level, followed by a list of states under each. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.124.61.215 (talk) 17:02, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
EST or ET? change
I was under the impression that, despite common usage, the format of PST/MST/CST/EST for US Time Zones referred specifically to the portion of the year when daylight saving time is not in effect and that during the rest of the year it would be abbreviated PDT/MDT/CDT/EDT. In this system PT/MT/CT/ET would be the abbreviation for these areas throughout the year. I feel like this is an important distinction but given the wide use of the _ST abbreviations for these time zones throughout the year, it may just be pointless pedantry on my part. So I'm just raising the question on this talk page. Wikipedia may even have already covered this in a style guide, but I am at work right now (yes, I'm doing something involving time zones) so I don't really have time to go looking for that. --— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.39.44.9 (talk) 06:50, 11 December 2021 (UTC)

Wake Island is not one in the list of time zones overseen by the US Department of Transportation.
