The entry states, "It is also used to represent coefficient of friction, micrometre and muon in physics" I challenge part of this statement, but only based on my general knowledge. I have learned that the lowercast symbol, μ, is, among others, the symbol for "micro", i.e. one millionth. This leads to the symbol for micrometre being μm.
