Hello FNF2024 participant! I will begin evaluation by running this article through my readability gizmo:[1] I'm getting results as young as sixth grade with an average of ninth. So far so good.
I will now read it with my mighty human brain. I see several places where the text could be simpler. Why "various"? Why "region"? Why "similarities"? "Golden locks" and "warmly welcomed" may not be clear to a non-native English reader.
This reads more like a regular en.wiki entry (and would make a good one). If you're participating in this contest on en.wiki too, I recommend you translate it over before simplifying it.
This article is a good candidate for further simplification. Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:34, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- I've simplified those words, changed "locks" to "mane", and explained it. Unfortunately, I'm blocked on English Wikipedia and can't participate in FAF there. Hoping to do that next year. – Cyber.Eyes2005Talk 14:30, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- Been there. Bummer. Good luck with the unblock procedure. It can get brutal. Darkfrog24 (talk) 04:17, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
