Talk:Photon

I think we should talk about how the photon (or quantization of light) was discovered change

  1. We should certainly mention the photoelectric effect.
  2. A brief mention of Plank's calculation should certainly come first, but without any attempt to explain the physics of a thermal gas of light. We could talk about a black body.
  3. Finally the emission and absorption spectra of atoms should be mentioned (perhaps first)
  • Before I start this, I will search Wikipedia, Wikiversity, and Wikibooks. If they already did something I can use, then I will not try to do anything here.

Making the protocol for equations consistent change

There are at least two ways to express equations in wikitext: One uses the equation <math> mode, while a variety of others use text (sometimes italic). The article I found mixed the modes. Not knowing the standard for WP simple, I adopted the math mode.--Guy vandegrift (talk) 02:55, 26 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
