surely simple english doesn't mean the same thing as english for simpletons... why is it assumed non-native speakers would be more familiar with American children's euphemism such as poop rather than excrement or waste?

the whole thing on gender-assignment based on genitalia is far too simplistic.

reducing mothers and fathers as progenitors to girls and boys is quite simply ridiculuous. would the words man and woman be so difficult to undertsand?

and to say that semen is a white liquid that comes out of the penis when a boy (sic.) is reoproducing witha girl (sic.) is just about beyond beleif: if they weren't reproducing would it not come out? if the boy was with another boy would it not come out. the whole thing is heterosexist in the extreme and smacks of puritanism at the best (are genitalia really oinly used for reproduction?)

girls have to cover their breast? have to? who says so?

where did the wacky idea that the anus is part of the genitalia come from? surely it's part of the digestive not the reproductive system. and who says the anus isn't really made for sex. did god clue the writer of the article in there on what is really made for sex and what isn't. presumably neither is the mouth, etc. how silly.

girls can stand up and urinate and in some cultures boys sit down to do it. this has more to do with cultural norms than the genitalia themselves.

This is about one of the worst articles i have read so far. who wrote this stuff a fifteen-year-old straight bible-basher or someone who things the readers need to be treated as if they were braindead and in need of reactionary heterosexism propaganda of the silliest kind.

It needs more than just a clean up. It is silly at best and offesive at worst. I propose the whole thing should be deleted until such a time as someone with an ounce of sense can rewrite in.

I noticed many of the same problems and fixed them. In addition to eveything you mentioned, which is all quite correct, perhaps the silliest thing in the original version was the bit about how "boys and girls anuses are exactly the same"...! I guess somebody here never heard of the prostate gland, or needs to learn some more before they try to teach! The prostate gland is designed to get cancer if you put anything into the anus, that's why women don't have one!!! Blockinblox 13:44, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
