Controversy change
Before I became involved here, this article only had what has been described as "the legend of Thanksgiving" as its history when there are claims the holiday could have a darker or more seedy origin. I added a controversy section, mainly rephrased from the section in the English Wikipedia article, but I was wondering if anyone could help in covering the controversy including the darker side of the holiday in order to meet the condition of WP:NPOV in order to maintain a neutral point of view as well as providing a simplified explanation.
