Too much using [not proven] change

The amount of [not proven] tags in an article linked from the main page is not good. The facts written here, but tagged as [not proven], are cited (proven) in the full English Wikipedia. It is good to encourage getting sources written, but for a newcomer the usage may be difficult. I will not remove the [not proven] tags from the article, but want to make a discussion (talk) about the usefulness of those tags on this page.
