Tammy Miller is an American accountant and politician. She is the 39th and current lieutenant governor of North Dakota since 2023. She was picked by Governor Doug Burgum to replace Brent Sanford after his resignation.[1]

She is a certified public accountant.[2] After thinking about it, she decided not to run for the United States Senate against Heidi Heitkamp in 2018.[3]
On January 22, 2024, Governor Doug Burgum announced he would not run for a third term.[4] On February 15, 2024, Miller announced she would run for governor.[5][6]
