Teater Tun Siti Hasmah

The play Teater Tun Siti Hasmah is about Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, the wife of former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.^[1] Directed by Erma Fatima, it starred Lisa Surihani, Eja, Nazim Othman, and Esma Danial.^[1] The play shows Siti Hasmah's early life as a doctor and her journey to becoming Malaysia's first lady.^[2] It was performed in November 2012 at Istana Budaya,^[1] Malaysia's main theater venue known as the "Palace of Culture."
