This template offers a unified citation to the 1982 book Accents of English by John C. Wells, a seminal work cited in many articles about English phonology. It works with Harvard citation templates.

The book is split into three volumes each with an individual ISBN yet with consecutive page numbers, which makes it difficult for editors to cite it with regular templates such as {{Cite book}} and make sure each inline citation corresponds to the correct volume.

|hide1=y, |hide2=y and |hide3=y hide the respective volumes. The first parameter adds a page number. |mode=cs2 makes the citation compatible with {{Citation}}. Set |year= to 1982a, 1982b, etc. if the article cites another 1982 work by an author with the same surname.
