Usage
changePlace this template at the top of a section that seems to form an image gallery in violation of the policy on image galleries.
This template is a self-reference. Do not subst this template.
This template can take an optional date parameter in the format {{Cleanup-gallery|date = <month> <year>}}. This template categorises pages into Category:Pages needing cleanup and its monthly subcategories.
Syntax
changeInput:
{{Cleanup-gallery|date=November 2024}}
Output:
 | This section looks like an image gallery. Wikipedia policy says that galleries of random images of the article subject should either be scattered around the page or removed completely. |
To automatically include the date for when the tag was added use the following:
{{Cleanup-gallery|date={{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}}}
