Template:Cleanup red links
This template may have too many red links. You can help Wikipedia by writing articles to help lower the number of red links. |
Usage
changeA red link, which looks like this, is a link to a page on Wikipedia that has not been created yet. Red links are not necessarily a bad thing, as they encourage people to create new pages and build the encyclopaedia.
However, the Simple English Wikipedia relies strongly on wikilinks to provide context for article subjects and explanations for non-simple terms. If these links lead to nothing, readers are less likely to understand the meaning of something without an alternative method of explanation (e.g., parenthetical notations, links to Wiktionary).
