Template:Distinguished subcategory/doc

Usage

{{Distinguished subcategory|parent|specific}}

parent – the parent category (without the prefix "Category:").

specific – replaces the name of the parent category in the second sentence. (optional)

Example

{{Distinguished subcategory|American movie actors|actors}}

produces:

This is a non-diffusing subcategory of Category:American movie actors. It includes actors that can also be found in the parent category, or in diffusing subcategories of the parent.
