Usage

{{explain|date=Month Year}}

The 'date' parameter is optional.

This template is used to show a word, phrase or sentence which the reader may not understand without further explanation.

Example:

The book deals with the "theory of obstreporous verbosity".{{explain}}

will look like this:

The book deals with the "theory of obstreporous verbosity".

This template will categorise pages into Category:Articles needing a sentence or phrase to be explained.
