Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ak is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ak, for example: {{Translated page |ak |name of page at Akan Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Akan Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Akan Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ak}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ak| some text in Akan}} wraps the text with <span lang="ak"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Akan-language text. Also available is {{Lang-ak |some text in Akan}} which displays as Akan: some text in Akan.
- {{R from other language|ak|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Akan-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ak}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Akan-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
