Usage
Template:ISO 639 name br is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code br, for example: {{Translated page |br |name of page at Breton Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Breton Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Breton Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |br}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|br| some text in Breton}} wraps the text with <span lang="br"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Breton-language text. Also available is {{Lang-br |some text in Breton}} which displays as Breton: some text in Breton.
- {{R from other language|br|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Breton-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|br}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Breton-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
