Usage
Template:ISO 639 name cdo is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code cdo, for example: {{Translated page |cdo |name of page at Eastern Min Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Eastern Min Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Eastern Min Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |cdo}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|cdo| some text in Eastern Min}} wraps the text with <span lang="cdo"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code cdo to include articles in Category:Articles containing Eastern Min-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Eastern Min |cdo}}). Also available is {{Lang-cdo |some text in Eastern Min}} which displays as Min Dong Chinese: some text in Eastern Min.
- {{R from other language|cdo|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Eastern Min-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|cdo}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Eastern Min-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
