Template:ISO 639 name fo
Faroese
Usage
Template:ISO 639 name fo is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code fo, for example: {{Translated page |fo |name of page at Faroese Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Faroese Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Faroese Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |fo}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|fo| some text in Faroese}} wraps the text with <span lang="fo"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Faroese-language text. Also available is {{Lang-fo |some text in Faroese}} which displays as Faroese: some text in Faroese.

- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|fo}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Faroese-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
