Usage
Template:ISO 639 name frr is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code frr, for example: {{Translated page |frr |name of page at North Frisian Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the North Frisian Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from North Frisian Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |frr}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|frr| some text in North Frisian}} wraps the text with <span lang="frr"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing North Frisian-language text. Also available is {{Lang-frr |some text in North Frisian}} which displays as North Frisian: some text in North Frisian.
- {{R from other language|frr|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from North Frisian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|frr}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to North Frisian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
