Usage
Template:ISO 639 name gn is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code gn, for example: {{Translated page |gn |name of page at Guaraní Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Guaraní Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Guaraní Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |gn}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|gn| some text in Guaraní}} wraps the text with <span lang="gn"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code gn to include articles in Category:Articles containing Guaraní-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Guaraní |gn}}). Also available is {{Lang-gn |some text in Guaraní}} which displays as Guarani: some text in Guaraní.
- {{R from other language|gn|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Guaraní-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|gn}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Guaraní-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
