Usage
Template:ISO 639 name got is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code got, for example: {{Translated page |got |name of page at Gothic Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Gothic Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Gothic Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |got}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|got| some text in Gothic}} wraps the text with <span lang="got"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Gothic-language text. Also available is {{Lang-got |some text in Gothic}} which displays as Gothic: some text in Gothic.
- {{R from other language|got|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Gothic-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|got}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Gothic-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
