Template:ISO 639 name ie
Interlingue
Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ie is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ie, for example: {{Translated page |ie |name of page at Interlingue Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Interlingue Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Interlingue Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ie}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ie| some text in Interlingue}} wraps the text with <span lang="ie"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Interlingue-language text.
- {{R from other language|ie|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Interlingue-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ie}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Interlingue-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
