Usage
Template:ISO 639 name kaa is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code kaa, for example: {{Translated page |kaa |name of page at Karakalpak Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Karakalpak Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Karakalpak Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |kaa}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|kaa| some text in Karakalpak}} wraps the text with <span lang="kaa"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Karakalpak-language text. Also available is {{Lang-kaa |some text in Karakalpak}} which displays as Karakalpak: some text in Karakalpak.
- {{R from other language|kaa|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Karakalpak-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|kaa}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Karakalpak-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
