Usage
Template:ISO 639 name pfl is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code pfl, for example: {{Translated page |pfl |name of page at Palatinate German Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Palatinate German Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Palatinate German Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |pfl}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|pfl| some text in Palatinate German}} wraps the text with <span lang="pfl"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code pfl to include articles in Category:Articles containing Palatinate German-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Palatinate German |pfl}}). Also available is {{Lang-pfl |some text in Palatinate German}} which displays as Palatine German: some text in Palatinate German.
- {{R from other language|pfl|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Palatinate German-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|pfl}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Palatinate German-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
