Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ss is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ss, for example: {{Translated page |ss |name of page at Swati Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Swati Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Swati Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ss}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ss| some text in Swati}} wraps the text with <span lang="ss"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ss to include articles in Category:Articles containing Swati-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Swati |ss}}). Also available is {{Lang-ss |some text in Swati}} which displays as Swazi: some text in Swati.
- {{R from other language|ss|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Swati-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ss}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Swati-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
