NOTE: This template is used to provide live meteorological data for current storms. For more information on using this template and /Current, see Template:Infobox weather event § Current storms.

Additional information

This is a wrapper template for the 'meteorology' sub-box. It provides the same parameters as that box, but some parameters may have different default data. The following changes exist for this template:

|live= has been defaulted to "yes".
The template (and thus, the scale) to be used for the event will be based on |1= (meteorology by default).
