{{Israel populations}} allows for the population of any Israeli locality to be updated from a single location. To use it on an article, enter the template {{Israel populations|Placename}} for the population (use the CBS placename, which you can find in the template by opening it for editing). You can also enter the year by using {{Israel populations|Year}} and a reference by {{Israel populations|reference}}. This will work in both the infobox and prose.
The data is taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics website, which is updated annually. Current data is 2017: http://www.cbs.gov.il/ishuvim/reshimalefishem.pdf
When updating the figures, also update the year (at the top).
