This template can be used to archive old warnings on IP user talk pages. The reason for archiving can be changed from its default with the reason= parameter, which affects the text "This shared IP ... these warnings may be stale."
If an optional text is given, it appears under the standard message. For example, giving a date range or other details. (See Example 2 below)
Surround old warnings on a user IP page (especially shared IPs) by

and
{{Old IP warnings bottom}}
The template can also be subst'ed.
