Usage

{{SOWL}} is a simple template for inserting a citation to the book The Sounds of the World's Languages by Peter Ladefoged and Ian Maddieson, which is cited extremely commonly in articles on phonetics and phonology.

Useful parameters:

First parameter: optional page number.
style=citation: Use {{citation}} instead of {{cite book}}. This changes the look slightly (basically, commas instead of periods are used to separate sections of the citation), and should be used when the remaining citations use {{citation}}. In both cases, parenthetical references inserted using {{harv}} or similar templates will work properly.
