Template:Wikidata description/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Wikidata description.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template gets the description of an item or property, and should stay in sync with the same template as d:Template:Label.

Examples:

{{Wikidata description|Q1}}: totality consisting of space, time, matter and energy
{{Wikidata description|Q1|en}}: totality consisting of space, time, matter and energy
{{Wikidata description|Q1|es}}: totality consisting of space, time, matter and energy
{{Wikidata description|P31}}: that class of which this subject is a particular example and member; different from P279 (subclass of); for example: K2 is an instance of mountain; volcano is a subclass of mountain (and an instance of volcanic landform)

The language code parameter does not work yet. It will be optional; if not provided it will default to English.
