The Assault is a 1986 Dutch World War II drama movie directed by Fons Rademakers and based on the novel of the same name by Harry Mulisch. It stars Derek de Lint, Marc van Uchelen, Monique van de Ven, John Kraaijkamp, Huub van der Lubbe and was distributed by Cannon Films. It won an Academy Award in 1987.
