The House of the Dead (Russian: Мёртвый дом) is a 1932 Soviet drama movie directed by Vasili Fyodorov.[1] The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It stars Nikolay Khmelyov, Nikolai Podgorny, and Nikolai Vitovtov.
