The Onion Field is a 1979 American crime drama movie directed by Harold Becker and based on the 1973 novel of the same name by Joseph Wambaugh. It stars James Woods, John Savage, Ted Danson, Franklyn Seales, Priscilla Pointer, Ronny Cox, Christopher Lloyd, and was distributed by Embassy Pictures.
