Tom McGuinness
Thomas John Patrick McGuinness (born 2 December 1941) is an English blues guitarist, who has played in Manfred Mann.

One of his first bands, called The Roosters, had a young Eric Clapton on guitar.[1] In 1964, he was added into Manfred Mann on bass guitar. After one year, he moved to guitar and remained in Manfred Mann until 1969. They had three songs that went to number one in the UK: "Do Wah Diddy Diddy", "Pretty Flamingo", and "Mighty Quinn".[2] After Manfred Mann ended in 1969, he joined McGuinness Flint, who had a song called "When I'm Dead and Gone" that went to number two on the UK charts.
In 1979, both McGuinness and Flint, and former Manfred Mann singer Paul Jones formed The Blues Band. They played their last gig in 2022. Since 1991, McGuinness and Jones have toured in The Manfreds, that has had former members of Manfred Mann in it.
