Toula Gordillo
Dr. Toula Gordillo is an Australian clinical psychologist, educator, author, and researcher. She is best known for creating Story Image Therapy (SIT®) and SIT Shadow Work™, which use stories and pictures to help people with mental health issues.[1]

Early Life and Education
changeDr. Gordillo was born in Queensland, Australia, on May 17, 1972. She studied psychology, arts, and education in university. After finishing her undergraduate degrees, she completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Creative Arts.[2]

changeDr. Gordillo has worked as a psychologist for more than 30 years. She has helped children, teenagers, and families, including people from Indigenous communities. Her work focuses on using stories and pictures to help people with mental health problems. She developed programs that help people by using storytelling to express emotions and solve problems. Dr. Gordillo has worked at health centers like New Beginnings. She has also been a teacher and guidance officer in schools in Queensland.[3]
