Trưng sisters

1st century AD Vietnamese queens and military leaders

The Trưng sisters were military leaders in Vietnam. They were the heads of the country three years after rebelling in AD 40. They had higher education, they achieved success in the field of literature and became the heirs of their father's land.[1] They were recognized as national heroines.
