UFO religion
type of religion which is partly based on beliefs about UFOs or extraterrestrial aliens
An UFO religion is a new religious movement. Followers believe that extraterrestrials exist, use unidentified flying objects, and communicate with humans. They think that human society and culture are already part of the extraterrestrials' own society and culture - or will become part of it soon.
Two well-known UFO religioins are Raelism and Scientology.
