Union Buildings
government headquarters in Pretoria, South Africa
The Union Buildings (Afrikaans: Uniegebou) form the official seat of the South African Government. They also have the offices of the President of South Africa. The buildings are located on the Meintjieskop in Pretoria, which is the highest point of the city. In December 2013, the buildings were declared a national heritage site.[1][2] Designed by Herbert Baker, the buildings were made from sandstone.[3]
