Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman or UTAR (Simplified Chinese: 拉曼大学; traditional Chinese: 拉曼大學; pinyin: Lā Màn Dà Xué) is a prestigious private university in Malaysia. It was established in 2002.

An event was held on August 13, 2002, to start UTAR at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia's fourth Prime Minister, attended. He also launched the university's new campus in Kampar, Perak.

UTAR is ranked top 100 in Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2018[1] and top 600 in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021,[2] which is 2nd in Malaysia.[3]
